Wasn't sure about the horsehair side at first but it's actually gentle enough for dry brushing before a shower, and the leather strap makes it easy to grip even with wet hands. The beechwood board feels solidly made too, no wobble at all.

The leather strap has these iron grommets that feel really sturdy, so I can grip it hard without worry. My skin feels noticeably smoother after a few uses, and the mix of horsehair and copper bristles hits that perfect balance between exfoliating and gentle.
