I was worried the clove would overpower everything, but it just adds a warm spiced edge that keeps the rose from feeling too sweet. It wears close to the skin for hours without any of that sharp alcohol blast you get from most perfumes.
The clove is what won me over—it gives the rose a warmth that most natural perfumes are missing. I do wish it lasted a bit longer on my skin, maybe four hours before I need to reapply. Still, for a hand-blended scent with no synthetics, I'm happy with it.
The rose comes through nicely at first but fades faster than I'd like, maybe two hours on my skin. The cedarwood base does stick around longer, though the clove is barely there for me. Decent natural scent, just wish it lasted through a workday.
